Tsikonona

Amin’ity iray volana jona fetin’ny ankizy ity dia nanao fifaninanana tsikonona ny kominina niaraka tamin’ny skoto sy ny mpianatra amin’ny ambaratonga voalohany. Mila mianatra mahandro sakafo mantsy ny ankizy, na lahy na vavy satria dia handray andraikitra izy rehefa any amin’ny tokatranony avy. Hatriny fony kely mantsy ny ankizy no mila zarina manampy ny ray aman-dreniny mahandro sakafo.
Rehefa manao tsikonona dia mila anana na legioma sy laoka kely, ary vary. Raha manana vilany kely na vilany kilalao amin’ny habeny tena ilaina dia tena tsara. Mila ampian’ny olon-dehibe mba tsy ho may na handoro zavatra. Any an-tokotany no fanaovana azy noho izany fa tsy ao antrano.
Raha ohatra ka nanasa namana ny ankizy dia azo hanina mihitsy ny sakafo. Nony masaka ny vary sy laoka dia mihinana amin’izay. Izay ny tsikonina na tsikonokonina.

Remark:
The Malagasy people also reduplicate the game’s name to tsikonokonona (some say tsikonina/tsikonikonina).
There is also the word dinety from the French dinette, so it is the play-dinner with the doll’s teaset.
The Malagasy people do not normally have the whole teaset in aluminium, only the pot is made smaller, and the children really cook the food on the fire (if the teaset is in wood, it is for virtual play-dinner only, or for house decoration).
