Adverbs of time

Point of time (definite)



Avy eo (then)
Misakafo dia avy eo dia mitsangana mandihy.
They eat and then stand up to dance.

Ankehitriny/izao (now)
Ankehitriny dia mipataloha daholo na lahy na vavy.
Now women also put on trousers.
Izao dia mitovy ny lahy sy vavy.
Now men and women are equal.

Androany (today)
Androany ny fitsingerenan’ny taona nahaterahako.

Rahampitso (tomorrow)
Rahampitso aho no handeha hody.
