THE MALAGASY IMPERATIVE (1)
The Malagasy radical verbs (without -ka, -tra, -na) have simple imperative forms, ending with o /u/ or y/i/. Examples:
Sasa=sasao (wash!) Toto: totoy: (grind!)
The imperatives ending with O or Y became A with the active verbs .
The finals verbs ending with finals of active V

B baby= babena= babeo/mibaby= mibabé (ya=ia=é) (to take on the back)

H hehy: mihomehy=mihomeheza (to laugh)
M veloma= velomina=veloma (pronounced the same) (to say goodbye
R Hendry=hendre/ mihendry: mihendre (to be wise)
Words already in the imperative= alèo… toy izay… it is better…than: alèo mahia, toy izay matavy. It is better to be thin than to be fat.
