KOKOA/MIHOATRA ... more than..

lehibe ( KOKOA/MIHOATRA) NOHO ... more than

Sometimes it is necessary to stress "less than" or " more than", already understood in the adjective with "noho" alone. The meaning depends on the adjective.

Look at the examples:

- I Bota no matavy kokoa noho i Zefa= i Bota no matavy noho i Zefa.

Both sentences mean : Bota is fatter than Zefa.

- I Zefa no mahia kokoa/mihoatra noho i Bota=i Bota no mahia noho i Zefa.

Both sentences mean : Zefa is thinner than Bota.

The opposite adjective is mostly used instead of "less than". Or the negative form with the necessary adaptation.

I Bota no matavy kokoa/ matavy mihoatra an'i Zefa= Bota is fatter than Zefa.

Zefa tsy matavy mihoatra an'i Bota: Zefa is not (as) fat as Bota is= Zefa is thinner (by implication)
